After

I used to Pen Tool for each head to create a selection and move the heads to the space background. I then used Free Transform to resize and rotate the heads. I placed the heads in the desired positions. I also increased the brightness of each head to make them more visible against the background. The head to the far right is baby me! :)

For this photo, I first cropped the butterfly pics and moved them to the Butterfly Wonderland background. I then used Free Transform to resize and rotate the pictures. I added a drop shadow to each picture. I then added the text to describe the photo and its location.

I really enjoy using the Mixer Brush and think that it looks nice on an outside picture. I only used the Mixer Brush on this picture.

The Boys - After

I used the Pen tool on the first image to create a selection that just included the children and subtract it from the background. I moved this selection onto the background. I used the Free Transform tool to change the size of the children. I then brightened the background slightly.

I used the Mixed Brush on this photo to make it look like a painting. I love this fountain and thought it would look nice as a painting.

I edited this picture of myself by first using the Spot Healing Brush to remove blemishes and soften wrinkles. I also cropped the photo. I then used the Surface Blur, followed by the Eraser tool to remove the Surface Blur effect from the hair and eyebrows. I used the Sponge Tool to increase the saturation of the eyes. 

Arizona State Fair

This is a photo of one of the ferris wheels at the Arizona State Fair. To edit this photo, I used adjustment layers to increase the vibrance. I then added a white border. Lastly, I added the text "Arizona State Fair 2014" and used a gradient overlay.

This is a photo of my youngest son, Trent, on one of our trips to South Mountain in Phoenix. I created a selection using the Quick Selection tool in order to isolate the sky. I then applied a cloud filter to add clouds to the sky, I then added the text "South Mountain" and added a gradient overlay.

Christmas Morning

This is a picture of my oldest son, Troy, riding his new bike on Christmas morning. First, I cropped the photo in order to remove some of the unnecessary background and focus more on Troy. Next I used the Clone Stamp tool to duplicate some of the smoother areas of the street. Lastly, I used a black and white adjustment filter to give the photo a classic feel.
